Product Details

Toujeo SoloStar pens deliver a long acting insulin in adults to control blood sugar.  Toujeo SoloStar is a unique insulin for diabetic patients.

Toujeo SoloStar is used once daily at the same time each day.  It is important to test your blood sugar and record and share these records with your physician.  Your dose of Toujeo will be determined by your physician and will be different from other insulins that you may have used.  Toujeo offers significant reduction to your A1C and gives stable blood sugar levels.

Toujeo Solostar delivers 3 times as much insulin per ml used.  Toujeo comes as 300u/ml so be aware of this in case you have used other insulin in the past.  The maximum dose that Toujeo Solostar can deliver is 80 units.  The total number of units per pen is 450 units.

The Toujeo Solostar pen has been tested and used by patients just like you, and 95% of first time insulin users say that this pen is easy to use.  Also, Toujeo has the smallest injection volume compared to all other long acting insulin.

Your Toujeo dose may be adjusted over time.  Work with your doctor to find the best dose for you.  Sometimes a few adjustments are made, maybe every 3 or 4 days until you find your best dose.

Take caution that you do not use Toujeo when blood sugar is low.  Do not share your Toujeo Solostar pen.  Do not mix with other insulins.  Toujeo is for adults only, not children.
