Adcirca (tadalafil) is a medication primarily used to treat pulmonary Arterial hypertension (PAH) in lungs by improving exercise capacity and reducing symptoms.

The studies assessing the effectiveness of the medication predominantly involved patients who had pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) with New York Heart Association (NYHA) Functional Class II – III symptoms. The most of PAH cases (61%) were idiopathic or heritable, while 23% were linked to connective tissue disorders.
