Tremfya contains the monoclonal antibody protein guselkumab. Tremfya blocks the activity of a protein (IL-23) which is present in higher levels in patients with psoriasis.
Tremfya is used by adults only with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis, which affects the skin and nails. The condition of scaling, flaking, pain, shedding and burning are improved with Tremfya.
