Vimovo (Naproxen / Esomeprazole)

Vimovo is a combination drug containing naproxen and esomeprazole.  The combination of a NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory) for pain and inflammation along with a PPI (proton pump inhibitor) for reduction of stomach acid works well to provide relief alongside of ulcer protection.

Vimovo is prescribed for symptomatic relief of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.  Vimovo reduces swelling, pain, redness and inflammation.
