EpiPen is a pre-filled auto-injector containing epinephrine, a medication used to treat severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis). It provides quick relief from the life-threatening symptoms of anaphylaxis, such as airway constriction, swelling, and low blood pressure. EpiPen is designed for emergency situations and is commonly carried by individuals at risk of anaphylaxis, including those with severe allergies to foods, insect stings, medications, or other allergens.
