Besivance is a topical antibiotic eye drop solution used for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis, commonly known as pink eye. It contains the active ingredient besifloxacin, which belongs to the class of drugs known as fluoroquinolones. Besifloxacin works by inhibiting bacterial DNA synthesis, thereby preventing bacterial growth and resolving infections in the eye.
