Accupril is called Accupro in UK.
ACCUPRIL or ACCUPRO is the brand name for the medicine medicine quinapril. ACCUPRIL is used to treat essential hypertension (high blood pressure). ACCUPRIL works well as monotherapy or concomitantly with diuretics and beta-blockers to treat hypertension in patients.
It's also effective in treating congestive heart failure in condition where the heart is not pumping.
ACCUPRIL is a primary choice for treating high blood pressure and is taken orally. Common side effects include headaches, dizziness, fatigue, and coughing.
ACCUPRIL is indicated for the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension).
Use as adjunctive therapy in the management of heart failure.
The initial recommended dosage of ACCUPRIL for patients 10 mg once daily, who are not on diuretics. Patients have been treated with dosages of ACCUPRIL up to 80 mg/day depend of their situation.
Patients who are treated with a Diuretic then initial dosage of ACCUPRIL should not exceed than 5 mg.
Not recommended for children.

Best for treatment of Hypertension(High Blood Pressure)
Effective in treatment of Congestive Heart Failure in Adults
For High Blood Pressure: Adults— 10 or 20 mg once in a day. Doctor can increase dose as it needed.
For Heart Failure: Adults— 5 milligrams mg two times in a day. Doctor can increase dose as it needed.
Don't use in pregnancy.

Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Swelling (angioedema): ACCUPRIL may cause swelling of your face, lips, tongue, and throat, which can lead to breathing difficulties, stomach pain, nausea, or vomiting. Seek emergency medical help if this occurs.
Low blood pressure: ACCUPRIL may lower blood pressure, causing dizziness or fainting. The risk is higher if you are taking a diuretic, undergoing dialysis, or experiencing diarrhea or vomiting.
Cough: ACCUPRIL can cause a severe, persistent dry cough. Consult your doctor if you experience this symptom while taking the medication.
If you have had an allergic reaction to an ACE inhibitor before then inform your doctor.
If you are pregnant don't use ACCUPRIL.
If you have diabetes & kidney problems.
