Prescription Juluca contains the active antivirals, dolutegravir and rilpivirine for the treatment of adults with HIV. Dolutegravir is classified as a integrase inhibitor (INI) and rilpivirine is classified as a nonnucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NNRTI). Juluca is used by patients who have been taking other HIV medicines and whose HIV is under control for 6 months or more. Juluca works to control the HIV virus levels and to maintain CD4 levels in the blood.

The standard Juluca dose is one tablet daily with a full meal. Juluca must be taken as prescribed by your physician. Do not crush, chew or split Juluca. Do not skip doses of Juluca. If you miss a dose and notice within 12 hours, take the tablet as soon as you remember (with a meal). If it has been longer than 12 hours since the scheduled dose, skip that dose and take your next dose at the regularly scheduled time. Do not double your dose of Juluca.
